조태희 교수는 임상 재건성형 분야에서 미세재건술의 효율성과 안전성을 높이는 실질적 연구에 초점을 두고 있습니다. DIEP flap을 이용한 유방재건에서 좌우 재건의 결과 차이를 분석하여 수술 경험치와 해부학적 변이를 평가하고, 다양한 perforator 및 propeller flap의 임상 적응증·합병증·성공률을 체계적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 또한 발·하지·손 등 복잡한 부위 결손에서 동맥 기반 피판의 임상 적용성을 연구하며, 감염성 상처·당뇨성 상처에 대한 재생 촉진 biomaterial(amnion-conjugated membrane 등)의 효과를 전임상 모델에서 검증 중입니다. 최소 침습적 상처 관리 전략 개발 또한 중요한 연구 축으로, 실제 환자 치료 프로토콜 개선에 기여하고 있습니다. Professor Cho focuses on enhancing the effectiveness, safety, and predictability of reconstructive microsurgery. His studies include evaluating laterality differences in DIEP flap breast reconstruction, analyzing outcomes and complications of various perforator and propeller flaps, and assessing clinical applicability in complex defects of the foot, lower extremity, and hand. He also investigates wound-healing mechanisms using biomaterials such as amnion-based composite membranes, particularly in diabetic and infectious wounds. Another major interest is developing minimally invasive wound-management strategies that translate directly into improved clinical protocols.
