Paratype: 1♂, SOUTH KOREA: Jeju Island, Jeju-si, Jocheon-eup, Seonhul-ri, Daeseopigul-cave, 33° 30' N, 126° 43' E; P 13 June 2013; YG Choi, WR Kim leg; NIBRIV0000292519. 1♂, SOUTH KOREA; Jeju Island, Jeju-si, Hallim-eup, HyeopJae-ri, Gunjigul-cave, 33° 23' N, 126° 14'; YG Choi, WR Kim leg; NIBRIV0000292520. Etymology. The species name refers the species’ subterranean biology in lava tubes on Jeju Island. The species name derives from the ancient Greek words troglo- (τρώγλη) and philía (φιλία), meaning “cave-dwelling.” Diagnosis. This species is most similar to Parobisium wangae Guo and Zhang, 2016 from China in the following characters: the number of marginal teeth (68–79 in P. troglophilum sp. nov. vs 66–74 in P. wangae) and carapaceal chaetotaxy (four in the anterior margin, eight in the posterior margin). Both species can be distinguished by the combined characteristics: the number of carapacal setae (26 in P. troglophilum sp. nov. vs 28 in P. wangae) and the ratio of chela (3.2x in P. troglophilum sp. nov. vs 2.51–2.66x in P. wangae). Description Female, adult (holotype) (Figs. 5A–B, 6) Colour. Carapace and pedipalp red; legs and abdomen light brown (Fig. 6). Chelicera (Fig. 7B). Palm smooth and with seven setae, one seta on the movable finger; 11 marginal teeth on the movable finger, nine on the fixed finger; size of all marginal teeth similar; serrula exterior with 34 blades; rallum with eight blades. Fixed finger with 75, movable finger with 68 small and dentate marginal teeth. Cephalothorax (Figs 7A, C).
