All-Solid-State Batteries A comprehensive understanding of the relationship between the molecular weight of polytetrafluoroethylene and its fibrillation capability enables the production of a sub-20-µm thick, robust, dry-processable solid electrolyte membrane for all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). With establishing shear-mixing conditions, a fabrication of a uniquely thin ASSB based on the 18 µm thick solid electrolyte membrane is demonstrated, exhibiting significantly enhanced energy density.
