Full-mouth rehabilitation through centric relation recording and vertical dimension recovery by using Gothic arch tracing method: a case report This is a case report of a 71-year-old male patient with a reduced occlusal vertical dimension (OVD) due to missing anterior teeth and extensive tooth wear, who was rehabilitated with full-mouth fixed prostheses.Following clinical and facial analysis, a 2.5 mm increase in OVD at the canine region was planned, and a therapeutic centric relation (CR) was determined at the new vertical dimension using a Gothic arch tracing.Provisional restorations based on this record were used for approximately 6 months to evaluate the patient's functional and esthetic adaptation. After stability was confirmed, the final restoration was completed with zirconia fixed prostheses. As a result, a stable occlusion was established at the planned OVD, and the patient expressed satisfaction with all aspects of masticatory function, phonetics, and esthetics. Therefore, this report aims to demonstrate that for complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases involving OVD restoration, a systematic approach combining Gothic arch tracing and a phased provisionalization process is an effective clinical method for achieving predictable and stable outcomes.(
