By identifying key microbial taxa that contributed to the AD classification through its interpretable attention mechanism, ATOMIC provides a foundation for personalized microbiome-based interventions and biomarker discovery. Additionally, to facilitate future research, we publicly released a gut microbial abundance dataset from KNUH.
