Synergistic Coupling for High-Energy-Density Anode-Free Lithium Metal Batteries In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202515906), Soojin Park, Nam-Soon Choi, Tae Kyung Lee, and co-workers report a synergistic coupling of a reversible host and carbonate-rich designed electrolyte that simultaneously stabilizes both electrodes, enabling dendrite-free Li deposition and achieving an unprecedented energy density of 1270 Wh L−1 in anode-free pouch-type lithium metal batteries.
