Maxillary implant-supported prosthesis with soft tissue integration: a case reportIn fully edentulous patients with minimal soft and hard tissue loss, FP-1 design can only be applied following a thorough assessment of various anatomical factors, including interarch relationship, available restorative space, soft and hard tissue conditions.FP-1 design provides the most favorable esthetic outcomes. However, its success relies on several key factors: implants must be placed in prosthetically ideal positions, peri-implant soft tissue must be esthetically modified through provisional restorations, and the morphology of the provisional restoration must be precisely transferred to the definitive prosthesis. This conditioning of the peri-implant soft tissue is essential for establishing a natural emergence profile and achieving harmonious integration of gingiva and prosthesis. This case report demonstrates a digital workflow encompassing diagnostic evaluation, implant planning, prosthesis design, and the precise transition from provisional to definitive restoration, resulting in functionally and esthetically satisfactory outcomes.
