박신형 교수

Department of Transportation Engineering

I am Shin Hyoung Park, a tenured full professor in the Department of Transportation Engineering at the University of Seoul. My research focuses on smart mobility, intelligent transportation systems, and traffic safety. I earned my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Seoul National University (SNU). Between October 2007 and January 2009, I was a visiting scholar at the Safe Transportation Research & Education Center (SafeTREC) at the University of California, Berkeley. After completing my Ph.D. in 2010, I spent over two years as a senior researcher at the Korea Expressway Corporation Research Institute. I then joined Keimyung University, where I served as an assistant and associate professor for seven years, before moving to the University of Seoul in September 2020. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in numerous academic societies, editorial boards, and committees, and have led various national research and development projects
