FIR Lab at DKU는 전자전기공학과 소속 연구실로, 주로 초기 암의 기능적 영상화, 다중 모달 영상, 고강도 집속 초음파(HIFU) 기술을 연구합니다. 최근 3년간 FIR Lab은 다양한 연구 프로젝트를 통해 뛰어난 성과를 거두었습니다. 2023년에는 'Factors Influencing the Repeated Transient Optical Droplet Vaporization Threshold and Lifetimes of Phase Change, Perfluorocarbon Nanodroplets' 논문을 발표하였고, 2022년에는 'Noninvasive ultrasound assessment of tissue internal pressure using dual mode elasticity imaging: a phantom study' 연구를 통해 비침습적 초음파 기술의 가능성을 입증했습니다. 또한, 2021년에는 'Ultrasound and Photoacoustic Imaging of Laser-Activated Phase-Change Perfluorocarbon Nanodroplets' 논문을 통해 레이저 활성화된 상변화 퍼플루오로카본 나노드롭렛의 초음파 및 광음향 영상을 연구하였습니다. FIR Lab은 이러한 연구를 통해 다양한 기업과의 R&D 협력을 모색하고 있습니다.
