계명대학교 동산병원 심장내과 김인철 교수 연구실은 심방세동을 포함한 부정맥의 전기생리학적 진단·치료, 심장영상 기반 구조적 심장질환 평가, 심근질환 및 심부전의 위험 인자 분석을 핵심 연구 분야로 삼고 있습니다. 연구실은 고밀도 전기생리 지도(high-density mapping)와 다양한 카테터 절제술 기법을 활용해 심방세동의 병태생리 규명과 치료 성과 향상을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 또한 CT, MRI, 심초음파 등 다중영상기법(multimodality imaging)을 통해 PFO, 비후형 심근, 비압축 심근 등 구조적 심장질환을 정밀하게 진단하고 예후를 예측하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 아울러 심부전 및 심근질환 환자를 대상으로 혈역학 지표, 심근 관류, 대사·염증 인자 등 다양한 임상 변수를 분석하여 위험도 평가와 치료 반응 예측 모델을 개발하고 있습니다. 김인철 교수 연구실은 이러한 연구를 기반으로 전기생리·영상·임상 데이터를 통합한 정밀 심장의학(precision cardiology) 실현을 목표로 하고 있습니다. This laboratory focuses on advancing precision cardiology through electrophysiologic mapping, multimodality cardiac imaging, and clinical analysis of myocardial and heart failure disorders. By integrating high-density mapping and state-of-the-art ablation techniques, the lab aims to improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes in atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias. Through comprehensive CT, MRI, and echocardiographic evaluation, alongside clinical risk factor profiling, the laboratory develops models for accurate diagnosis, risk stratification, and personalized cardiovascular care.
