This laboratory rigorously evaluates real-world outcomes of acute recanalization therapies and defines optimal treatment pathways tailored to patient and situational factors. This laboratory studies endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) and intravenous thrombolysis (IVT), including sequencing and combination strategies, procedural methods and number of passes, and effectiveness differences between in-hospital and community-onset stroke. The overarching aim is to strengthen evidence for decision-making, improve functional outcomes, and refine interventional protocols for both safety and efficiency.
