This laboratory investigates mechanisms of thrombus formation and propagation in acute ischemic stroke and clarifies how clot composition and structural features influence clinical course. With an emphasis on cancer-associated stroke and hypercoagulability, this laboratory analyzes clot volume, distribution, and micro-composition to identify predictors of reperfusion response and outcomes.
