During the postdoc period, we repurposed commercial NGS for massively-parallel profiling of protein-nucleic acid interactions. A key advantage is that we first use commercial NGS instruments for genome-scale DNA sequencing. We then use the same microfluidic chips for structure-function studies. In the future, the CHAMP will be set up in my group to perform interesting things.
